CNN —Emma Stone is setting the record straight about her viral reaction to a joke made at this year’s Oscars by host Jimmy Kimmel. “I didn’t call him a p—k,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Wednesday. I’ll have to look that up.”Throughout the Oscars telecast, a montage of scenes from each of the 10 best picture-nominated films was shown. After the “Poor Things” clip played, Kimmel joked that “those were all the parts of ‘Poor Things’ that we’re allowed to show on TV,” seemingly in reference to the graphic and sexual nature of the R-rated film. Lanthimos and Stone previously worked together on 2018’s “The Favourite” prior to “Poor Things,” and are teaming back up for “Kinds of Kindness,” coming out on June 21.

CNN —Robert Downey Jr. was unfazed by Jimmy Kimmel’s joke about his past drug use at this year’s Oscars. As Kimmel hosted, he made a joke about Downey Jr. being at “one of the highest points” of his career. “I don’t care,” Downey Jr. told Esquire. “Everybody loves the simple narrative of somehow I came in and turned his life around and blah, blah, blah,” she said. So was I.”The couple are the executive producers of the upcoming seven-episode HBO series “The Sympathizer,” in which Downey Jr. stars.

During the performance, the Dolby Theatre took on the feel of a Taylor Swift concert, with everyone in the room standing and breaking into spontaneous, joyous dance. And the biggest fan in the room was Gerwig, who was given her own personal Ken right up in her face. During the commercial break Mark Ronson found his way to Gerwig, Robbie and a crowd of admirers.
